Godzilla 3D to the MAX-NEWS
Mood:  surprised

Its on bitchez!!!!! According too an inside tip it is in production and slated for an early 2009 release.Origianlly we heard it  was gonna have a 9/11 theme but that has been changed and all NY and 9/11 references removed.Tipster sayd "A new monster called Deathla, appears and awakens Godzilla from hibernation in the Iguazu Falls, located between Argentina and Brazil. A battle ensues and progressed to Mexico City and finally concludes in Las Vegas."

Funding for the Imax film was on hold and came thru as of Feb 2008.Aside from the 3-D IMAX format, the film is planned to be shot in 70mm film and is slated to be 40 minutes long.It will be helmed by Yoshimitsu Banno, who previously directed Godzilla vs. Hedorah in 1971, and Keith Melton. 3D to the MAX will be produced by Kenji Okuhira and Brian Rogers respectively. The film's production is being done by Advanced Audiovisual Production, director Banno's own company stationed in Japan, and is being planned to target the American market along with an American cast. However, Toho, the creators of Godzilla, will act as technical advisors over the Godzilla character and will distribute the film in Japan. Special effects will be handed by Eiichi Asada.

Movie Review: Godzilla Vs Biollante
Mood:  caffeinated
Now Playing: Godzilla Vs Biollante

    Godzilla Vs Biollante

Photobucket

With this the writers want you, again, too forget the other films in the series happened at all. This is why I say that
: in Godzilla 1985 they try too gloss over the previous films and start from the original. That is, that 1985 is a sequel too the original film.

Right.

So ok ya go along with that, HOWEVER, in the end he supposedly "dies".

Ooook,so whos this then? Oh wait, you want us too forget about that last one right. No? Oh it did happen he just didnt die, eventhough we saw it? Make up your minds people, seriously.

Back too the story.

So what happens is after Godzilla trashed Tokyo a scientist ( again with the coo koo scientists) obtains what they call  "G cells" his flesh in other words, and he blends them with a rose and his daughters cells. His daughter, who dies in an explosion caused by ppl who tried too steal the "G cells". Followin me here?IDK it confuses me how the daughter factors into all this but this scenario makes the most sense too me. Me who has watched the film at least 7 times. And yeah even though alot of ppl have called me a Godzilla expert, I still dont get this sh*t.

So.

After the mad scientist does all this blending crap tha thing goes bat shit crazy and settles in the bay. Godzilla for some dumb reason just for shits and gigles I guess, or maybe he was confused by all this and wanted too find out wtf was goin on-- appears. Just like that. He just *poof* appears. They said Biollante which is what they start callin the mutant rose-- Yes. I said mutant rose. Lord.-- called him. Seriously? SO G come too the bay and the humans try too kill him with all sortsa machinery cuz gawd that always ALWAYS works- and of course they fail and eventually the mutant rose turns into this:

Photobucket

Lovely isnt it?
And once again Godzilla wins, they people think Godzillas dead......but is he?????

This film IS a step up and an exciting taste of things too come. Storyline as usual stunk but the SFXs are really improving.

Movie Review: Terror Of Mechagodzilla.

       Terror Of Mechagodzilla

Last night I finished wathcing this movie for I dont know the fifth time or so.Its a trip. This film is of the Toho era...basiclly the 1960's and many of the films involved aliens and were generally geared towards children. Adults who say, started with the Millenium series or even 1985,scoff at these admittedly campy older films. Die hards like myself recognize the neccesary evolution of Zilla and respect them for what they were, which were, at that time, cinematic feats.

So heres the basic story.

Aliens team up with an old nutty professor who controls Titanosaurus Roar,Titanosaurus and they excavate a tattered Mechagodzilla from the ocean floor rebuild him and decide too send the 2 creatures too destroy poor ole Tokyo. Godzilla catches on and is not pleased and then the fights on. Zilla goes too town on the enemy and with the help of the Japanesse he of course wins.Along the way theres an off the wall cyborg story but really all we care about in the end are monster fights, right? All in all a pretty good film as far as Toho era films go.

Sony To Release A New Godzilla Film in 2009?

From a German Film Page:

8 years already ago is it that Roland Emmerich\'s of computer-generated Godzilla provided for unrest. While critics and fans of the Japanese Gummigodzillas could not begin anything with the revised version, the film lured nevertheless many spectators and finally brought it on nearly the three-way to his development costs. After 1999 a direct continuation were only rejected, Sony wants to apparent again warm its toy up now. According to first Insidergeruechten Godzilla 2 is to take over the Popcornsommer 2009, as long as the current favourite child Spider-Man makes break. Zilla is called, like Emmerich\'s version to see ward at the beginning of the yearly in a Chips-advertising spot last. In addition there was also still another indication trick series named Godzilla: The Series, which arrived very successful particularly in the states.

***All I can find now is speculation, no concrete info-just one person claiming a trailer of some Godzilla film, will be out in December.***

Godzilla 3D To The Max

Godzilla 3D to the MAX is an upcoming 3-D IMAX film installment into the franchise.

The movie was originally scheduled to be released theatrically in the United States on September 12th 2007, with a Japanese theatrical release to follow on a to be announced 2008 date. Aside from the 3-D IMAX format, the film is planned to be shot in 70mm film and is slated to be 40 minutes long. However, it took a long time to get funding approved from Toho, and the film was stuck in a state of "production hell" for about a year. As of February 2008, funding has been received and the movie is scheduled to be released in early 2009.
